As an affiliated laboratory at VCU, SERL provides a variety of
fee-for-service activities to assist faculty in carrying out their research
objectives, as well as providing research and evaluation services to state and local agencies, non-profit and academic units. SERL researchers are trained
in research methodologies for the social and behavioral sciences and have
extensive experience in field research. SERL senior staff can provide expertise
in survey design and interviewing, as well as help you design the best method
of data collection and sampling strategy for your study.
The SERL staff is experienced with both large and small
scale methodologies. We have over 25 years of experience with mail and
telephone survey protocols and 10 years of experience collecting data via the
internet.
SERL employees have extensive experience programming web
surveys, databases, and web interfaces for clients to store and manage data.
