Welcome to the Survey Evaluation and Research Laboratory

The Survey and Evaluation Laboratory (SERL) can help with all phases of a survey research or evaluation project, from conceptualization and design through logic modeling, sampling, data collection, database management, data processing, analysis and reporting. SERL specializes in customized studies that require special attention to individual cases, often involving a mix of qualitative and quantitative components. SERL also has extensive experience providing program evaluation to a wide variety of clients.

SERL’s mission is to examine public and social issues using applied research techniques to broaden and improve public discourse and decision-making.

Through collaborative partnerships with its clients, SERL tailors its services to meet the unique needs of each project. In all of SERL’s work, the goal is to provide the attention and expertise required to deliver credible and actionable information at a reasonable and understandable cost.  SERL is financially self-supporting and charges fees for its services.
