The Survey and Evaluation Research Laboratory (SERL) is a VCU research-affiliated laboratory. The SERL is a part of the Center for Public Policy and is housed in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs.
SERL provides a variety of fee-for-service activities to assist faculty in carrying out their research objectives, as well as providing research and evaluation services to state and local agencies, non-profit and academic units. SERL researchers are trained in research methodologies for the social and behavioral sciences and have extensive experience in field research. SERL senior staff can provide expertise in survey design and interviewing, as well as help you design the best method of data collection and sampling strategy for your study.
